Show us how your business runs. We'll build the software around it.

Griffon builds operations and accounts systems for farms, packhouses, traders and exporters. From the farmer's plot to the final payment, it records your process as it is, so your team doesn't have to learn a new one.

Built for Balaji Greens, Shubham Enterprises, Krishvedi Farms and a table-grape exporter.

A harvest intake as the exporter described it on paper, and the screen we built from it. Sample figures.

From the plot to the payment, every step leaves a record.

No two of our systems are the same, because no two businesses are. These are the steps they usually cover. Pick up any carton and you can follow it back to the plot it came from, and forward to the payment it earned.

Who we build for

Farms and contract farming companies

Plan input stock ahead so no activity waits. Track planned against actual work each day, record field checks and yield estimates, and see costs against expected returns.

Traders and exporters

Plot-level traceability, MRL and food-safety records, pre-dispatch checks and export documents in one place. Disputes and final settlements are recorded against the original invoice.

Agri consultants and crop advisors

Farmer-wise and plot-wise records instead of diaries. Log field observations through the crop cycle, plan visits, and send advice to the farmers you work with.

Agri startups and growing businesses

No tech team needed. Explain your value chain to us and we'll put it into software, with the numbers you need to run the business every day.

Systems we've built

Each one started as a client explaining their work to us, often on paper. Here is what four of them do.

Balaji Greens

Pomegranate sourcing, from contracted farms to market. Web app, plus an Android and iPhone app for the field team.

Balaji Greens buys pomegranates from farmers it works with through the season. Field staff register each farmer and geo-tagged plot, score fruit quality in the orchard, and send the farmer an agreement to approve with an OTP on their phone. At harvest, boxes are recorded by marka, loaded, checked again before dispatch and settled with the farmer.

  • Farmer IDs and geo-tagged plots
  • Field QC with grade mix and defect scores
  • Agreements the farmer approves by OTP
  • Harvest by marka, loads and dispatch QC
  • Settlements and farmer invoices
  • English and Gujarati for field staff

Grapes Export

Table grapes for export, from APEDA-registered plot to closed trade.

Every plot is registered with its GrapeNet code. Before harvest the team records Brix, berry size and residue test results. At packing, the system only accepts grapes from plots that passed every MRL the buyer needs. Cartons go onto pallets and into a container, the invoice goes out in the buyer's currency, and when the final price comes in, the difference becomes a credit or debit note.

  • GrapeNet plot codes, Brix and MRL results
  • MRL check at packing, per buyer
  • Carton lot codes traced to farmer and plot
  • Pallets, containers, export documents
  • USD, EUR and GBP invoices
  • Exchange gain or loss on every receipt

Shubham Enterprises

Agri-produce export: orders, sourcing, packing and dispatch.

Here the sales order drives everything. It works out how much produce and packing material is needed from each SKU's recipe, splits the purchase across suppliers, and follows it through receiving, packing and dispatch. Stock is valued at weighted average, and every bill lands in the right ledger.

  • Purchase needs worked out from each order
  • Purchase orders per supplier
  • Packing costed on the kg actually used
  • Dispatch with container, seal and photos
  • Ledgers with ageing
  • Profit and loss by day, week or month

Krishvedi Farms

Dry fruit trading and processing.

Krishvedi buys dry fruit in bulk, sorts and packs it into retail packs, and sends it to customers who confirm what they accepted. Every pack carries the cost of the batch it came from, including expenses and normal wastage, so profit is known for each dispatch and each order.

  • Batch costing, oldest stock first
  • Processing with recipes and expected wastage
  • Pink slip on dispatch
  • Invoice once the customer confirms
  • Returns back to stock, transit losses written off
  • Staff limited to the locations they work at

How a project runs

Software fails on farms and in packhouses when it asks people to change how they work. So we start with how you work, and build from there. Our team has spent more than ten years streamlining agri operations.

  1. We learn your process

We sit with the people who do the work: the buyer at the farm gate, the packhouse supervisor, the accountant. Sketches, registers and photos of bills all help.

  2. We draft it and show you

You get the workflow in writing and a working demo with your own crops, packs and partners in it.

  3. You sign off the logic

We agree on the details that decide the numbers: how wastage is counted, when a bill falls due, who can see the money pages.

  4. We build it and stay on

Your system goes live on its own address with staff accounts, printing and backups set up. Teams are usually using it every day within ten days.

Tell us what you handle.

A few lines is enough: what you grow, buy or sell, and where it gets messy today. We'll call you to understand the rest.

What you grow, buy, pack or sell, roughly how much, and where it gets messy today.

We use these details only to reply to you. Privacy
